turn signal switch

I have put a tilt steering column from a 1970 Camaro in my 66 truck. I am putting a remote horn button in place of the horn ring. I have found the correct wires to change for this but I can't find what the tan-green/tan wires are for on the switch. Can someone tell me what these wires ae for?

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: turn signal switch

The best tool to have when mix/matching electrical components is wiring diagrams for both vehicles...

Re: turn signal switch

If you are talking about the turn signal switch and two wires to it , a tan and green/tan wire. Does your signal lever also dim the lights and if so they might be the wires for the dimmer switch.

Here is a picture of a 70 Camaro tilt column switch does yours look like it.

Re: turn signal switch

Try this link about half way down is the 70 turn signal diagram. It maybe for the key buzzer.
