Question gas filler neck

What is the best why to put the upper fill neck and neck gasket [seal] in? Put the gasket on the filler neck, then install or put the neck gasket on the then try to install the filler neck up through it. I know it installs from the inside. Both look like a pain. 53 3100

Re: gas filler neck

Just replaced the gasket and the hoses on my 55 2nd, and put the gasket in the hole in the cab with a little silicone spray lube. Then the filler tube slid into the gasket with no problemo. A little silicone lube on the hoses, and they slid into place.
