97 heater fan

I have a Lot of noise coming from my heater blower fan. It sounds like there’s crap in there. How difficult is it to access the fan and clean it out?

Re: 97 heater fan

After owning my '89 for over thirty years I got used to cleaning out the housing every year or two. Stuff manages to collect from the cowl area and also the fan bearings start going dry. There was a recommended fix for that also. I think I replaced the fan about three times in the life of my truck.
