Wow, that really looks good.

What type of paint did you use and what color is the yellow? I wanted to use the same paint on my Blazer model as I'm using on my actual Blazer (GM calls it dark yellow), but I've been told it will melt the plastic.

Rust-Oleum 2x ultra cover gloss golden sunset. It's for wood metal and plastic . The white is Krylon automotive acrylic enamel

Are there any 67-72 Chevy die cast trucks available with "normal" sized custom wheels ? I've looked but as yet have not seen any.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Nice . I couldn't find a yellow/ white one they only had a flat black one or the black and red.

Looks like they stopped making the yellow /white trucks a while ago

Summit racing sells collectible diecast cars now. Of interest are several 1/18 scale chevy trucks. I know Andy will like the '67 C30 ramp truck.

Can't be putting a truck with someone else's colors on your pumpkin pie. That came out great. Did you jam the doors? If you want to go smaller, Jada made a 1/64 scale with your paint job. You need to getcha one of those. Then you can go lighter on the whipped cream

That's what I came to realize. Too broke to work on my '67 with truck building still in my blood, I resorted to frame-ups on more 'downsized' trucks.

Lots of repainted diecast in this thread and other threads in the "Our Stuff In Scale" forum

I saw that the doors opened so wondered about that. I never saw a jam spray can. Unless that's the model paint cans
