HEI rebuild ? on lube for main shaft

Just freshened up my hei. as it was gummed up but when installing the main shaft into the housing are you supposed to put anything on the shaft.

Yes. put a small amount of grease like disc brake wheel brg. grease on the shaft. Also put a pinch on the pivot pins that the flyweights go on. Put a little on the bottom of the weights too. Be sure & put a heat transfer grease on the bottom of the module.

thanks, found all the info but couldn,t find anything on shaft lube except the top seal lube under the pickup. I did learn to use the right paste for the module NOT DIE ELECTRIC GREASE
