these pics dont have the rear slider/guide on them, but htat is done now. as soon as i get the latch i will take it apart and paint it. everything is bolted on so i can always go back to the rear hinges.

pretty crazy lookin brackets! You better hope it doesnt scratch the paint when you lay it down flat.

yeah i messed up some paint lining it all up, but now it clears everywhere good. it is pretyy ugly in there, but hopefully some grinding and flat black paint will make it a little cleaner. by the way the inner fenders still go in good, i just took them out to adjust my bolts easier. this way i can climb up beside the tire and weld with the hood donw. it was pretty slick. anyone else have a hood like this? any pics? thanks, Ben

ive seen people use the setups from buick lesabres somewhere in the 90s. i think that is was lotik did

I dont know if they will work or not but the old 80 modle BMWs opened like that it may be a source for a good set of hinges I see them in the salvage yards alot.

here i thought all i have to do is get my alinment(sp) done.then i can drive my truck.now with this kind of stuff my mind is turning hmmmm.....
