New trash truck

87, 4 banger, 4 speed, no PS, no PB. Now is this going to stay as a trash truck, or is going to be my cool trash truck? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm... What do you all think?

Re: New trash truck

I like it! My favorite vehicle of all time was a 91 4cyl 5sp, no ac, ps, etc.

I like them simple.

Re: New trash truck

Well last night I got the welder out and fixed all the holes on top of the bed and fender holes. I think the bed had something like 10 holes on each side that I had to weld up. Why do you have to do that?

Back at it tonight..

Re: New trash truck

Did a little work on the truck last night, I found a new fender and started welding it up. Now that looks better.

I am also working on the front bumper, cutting it up a little and making it fit close to the body. And I had a set of 02 vette seats that I made work in the truck. I will get pics of that very soon..

Re: New trash truck

Pics of my new seats, I also picked up an 87 vette Steering wheel, not on in this pic. And I was thinking pull the old wheel off and put the new one on, No! it took cutting and drilling to make it work. So GM did not make all the wheels just a like, the spline was the only thing that did work right. But its one now and looks sweet...

Sweet. My dad had a two tone red and white 91 2.5L/5spd. I loved driving that truck.

Re: New trash truck

Thanks guys, ya it’s a different fun to drive then my blazer, I guess I don’t care about the truck as much and just drive the hell out of it. I don’t want to make it that nice so I don’t loose that feeling. But a V8 with a 5 speed or 6 speed will come soon…

And one pic of the vette logo in the grill, looks kinda cool I must say..
