3 or 4 speed saginaw
hi, i recently posted a topic about transmissions. i originally wanted to switch to a trans that would allow me to keep the shifter on the column, but have changed my mind. i'm going to go with a floor shift and would like to go with a 3 speed saginaw or a 4 speed saginaw and possibly a 5 speed. i would like something that will be a direct bolt on and only do little modifications but prefer to do none. the vehicle is a '63 c-10 lwb stepside with a 230 inline 6. thanks!

i think i forgot to mention, what trucks/cars can i get a 4 speed saginaw out of. there is a person who lives in my town who is selling a 4 spd saginaw with the linkage and shifter for $250. i can go to the local pick-a-oart and get one for about $50-$60. PLEASE HELP!
