Differences B/W 72 and 73 bucket seats

I've done some searching/reading on here, and other forums trying to get a definitive answer on the differences between 72 and 73 bucket seats.
I came across a really nice set of front buckets and console out of a 73 Blazer. The price was too good to pass up, so I grabbed them up. I can tell by looking at them the mounting brackets are completely different. But the seats themselves look exactly like a 72 bucket?
So here are my questions:
1. Are the foams different from 72 to 73?
2. Will 69-72 mounting brackets bolt to the 73 seats?

If there are too many differences to make them work, I'll probably just pass them along to someone with a 73-up. Thank you!

You can make them work, the biggest difference to me is the side skirts taper on the 73 up seats. I have several sets of skirts made up if you are interested in a set. The next to me would be the nut zerts that would need to be installed to mount the passenger front legs. The rest is oblonging the very back holes on the 72 brackets to get them bolted on.

Hope that makes sense, if you look up the cushions I believe they are the same up to 75.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by side skirt taper? I"ve never had, or took apart a bucket seat from these trucks, so forgive my ignorance. Do you have a picture of what you're talking about?
I'm wondering if I would be better off to just continue my search for a nice set of 71/72 seats.

I'll get you some pictures these weekend, you will need a welder to install the skirts and a spot weld cutter to remove them or a grinder will work.

Sorry the side skirt is rough but hopefully you can see the taper. If not let me know and I can dig another seat out. The one with a new skirt was a 73 up low back seat.
