engine ID

hi guys, i have a 14101148 short block. one piece rear main seal. i cant find the suffix code ID. it is vb193971. from the block id it says, 86-90 350. its drilled for the roller cam spyder and a fuel pump. but i cant find vb id. i,ve seen vp and that is a goodwrench crate engine. thanks, brown 70

That’s not a suffix code.
The last six digits are the last six digits of the part number of the motor.
The vb is a date code.
I’m not sure exactly what it decodes as.

thanks guys, i saw the bang shift forum. i didnt know those blocks cracked like that. bummer, im going to have to look into the cracking issue. BROWN 70
