Thanks Pete.

I guess it will be interesting for me too.

Doubt there will be space for a tooth pick, let alone gifts Andy.

At the weekend I bought this trunk, ideal for a rat rod truck build.

Spent an hour cleaning it up for market. Pity I do not have a rat rod that needs a nice trunk like this.

I also spent some time on cleaning up the Silver Cross pram for Nicola.

Ideally it needs a resto but I have other fish to fry at the moment.

After all of our attempts on Saturday to get the ball joints pressed into the lower wishbones, Martin managed to get them done today.

So that's another little job done and one step closer in the reassembly.

Thank you Bill, I suspect we will.

Along with the face to face time with a load of amazing good guys from this forum in various places.

Mike, the trunk is for sale, as is everything in my life, except my integrity.

Booked our seats this morning when online booking opened.

Until we booked, the seats we wanted, twin row, right at the rear, meaning more space and less people crawling over you, were for sale as a pre-booking option at £43.00 per booking.

So by waiting till it opened, I guess we each now have another £43.00 or $65.48 to spend on spares.

Now we can probably say.......

A Road Trip for the ages.
It may not compare to your bike road trip in Africa but there are a few more truck parts here in the states that you might need.

Looking forward to meeting you guys here in Arkansas.

Thank you Vince.

The Efrican ride was a trip of a lifetime, for sure. Both physically and emotionally, being able to share it with my brother.......

The spares are a great concern...... They weigh a lot and a pain to get home, but Ido look forward to meeting a bunch of amazing people.

Re: Grizz's Redneck Express 1966 Chevy Short Fleetside RESTO-GO!

Typically, I could not leave well alone.

So late afternoon I went and dragged out the truck and used the last of my rust converter on the chassis.

I left out the prop shaft and diff, will do them when I get back and get more Vactan.

This will be the last work I do till I get back.

Re: Grizz's Redneck Express 1966 Chevy Short Fleetside RESTO-GO!

Intermittent internet. So not doing photos etc.

Just mad mad mad this trip.

Embracing hospitality, and so many people wanting to offer us friendship and sharing knowlege.

I am truely humbled by the American people we have met so far.

Clems Party has been Awesome !!

I have met a load of board members and every one is even nicer in real life.

Going over to Mike Losh with his Boosted Bertha SEMA truck tomorrow. Hopefully we can help a bit.

BUILD THREAD HERE:

Full report when I can get to it.
