Wood Floor or Metal
A couple of years ago I found a '68 wood floor box at a wrecker and I picked it up. The front of the box is strait, the floor needs replacement, and there is a bit of rust on the fenders, but not much.
I recently bought a different truck and it has an almost perfect metal floor. I still like the wood, but with that nice metal floor I figure why bother. What would you do? How much is the wood-floor box worth (ballpark)?

Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm. '79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350. '76 Sierra Grande (Orange) - hate isn't too strong a word. Kid who bought it turned it into a hot rod. '68 C-10 R.I.P. - Dad's old truck...too far gone to resurrect. '59 C-50 - with hoist. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said. |

For a daily driver/work truck/beater...the steel floor is hard to beat.
But the wooden floor is pretty darn awsome. |

An almost perfect metal floor in a truck is getting hard to find anymore.
