Re: the soccer mom

i know, i know, there coming. frame and chassis parts are coming back from powder mon/tue? motor i picked up last week. body goes to paint hopefully before christmas. stainless hardware hopefully will be here before weekend. interior is almost all here redone in boxes.
things have been hectic, have a 2yr old and a 3 week old. cleaning shop today and making room for the frame. have to keep mom happy too!

Re: the soccer mom

same but different? more orangeish red, with the white roof. it had white below thw woodgrain before but i think the white walls will take care of that now. my wife was on me about a family toy, not another bar hopper bike or race car. your build turned me on to the suburbans. i have always ha these trucks, and these complement them nice. thanks!

Cool truck. My humble opinion would be that it's a perfect crewcab donor truck since it's solid and there might not be a ton of people looking to restore a raised roof conversion Suburban. I'd buy it, but only to convert it back to a stock roof or to chop it into a crewcab.

Re: the soccer mom

no donor truck here!!! I got it now! I would have cried if ida passed on the hambulance and found this thread later. I just posted those same pics that bato sent me on my build thread. when bato drove the ambulance down here and saw my old 71 4x4 he said "wow that is the worst rot ive ever seen on a truck someone was trying to save." sometimes I need a painfully blunt outside perspective. see you this weekend
