one good running 2002 chevy 8.1 vortec engine and 2wd 4l80e transmission. 496 CUBIC INCH BIG BLOCK CHEVY. the last of the big blocks. was removed from a wrecked but perfectly good running 2002 chevy 2500 suburban. has 127,567 miles. complete liftout comes with all front assys. starter,engine harness,ecm, transmission yoke. this is a drive by wire engine it comes with the mass air flow sensor and drive my wire module and electric gas pedel. 30 day standard warranty. a copy of the salvage title with the vin will be provided to the buyer to document the mileage on this unit.$3500.00 for the complete package. located in paragould arkansas. we can ship it. this thing is very heavy like 1400 pounds in the crate. we do charge $100.00 crating fee to crate the engine up plus actual shipping charges. this is a complete package with no wires cut.

$550.00 plus the $100.00 crating charge for a total of $650.00. that is to a residence sending a truck with a lift gate.

Not wanting to kill your sale but I feel it’s fair to warn people that are thinking of installing this in a 67-72. The oil pan will hang below the cross member ~2 inches. There are no other pans available except a Marine pan for ~$600. I have one and took the measurements; my truck is lowered so I’m not going to use it. In a 4X4 it would be Bad A$$.
P.S. if you know of any other pans out there for under $200 I’d love to know about it

we have a local welder that does them he shortens the factory pan it is aluminum. he cuts them and tig welds them. he charges $125.-200 depending on how long it takes.

I wish I could pronounce Natchitoches. I need to come down to the car show next fall.

We have one of these engines in a K2500HD 4dr, 4wd, lwb. That engine is a stump puller. It drags that big ole truck around with ease.

You should! The Natchotoches (Nack-a-tish) car show has been growing and has became quite large. It is an all weekend event. I believe they also have some live music. Its October 3-4 this year. If I can get a 8.1L installed, I may enter my truck in its rough 35 year old "Plain Clothes!"

We usually do Cruisin the Coast, but may look for other venues this year. I think the Nak-i-tish show is the weekend before CTC.

I'm wrapping up a frame off on a 65 Chevelle ragtop, and that would be a good trip for it.
