Exclamation Cheyenne vs. CST confusion

My truck is supposedly a '72 CST but the label inside the glove box says "Cheyenne" and 167110 "CUSTOM TRIM COMBINATION". I thought "Cheyenne" was not in use for '71-72 Blazers. It came with 2nd visor, cigar lighter, arm rests, etc. Can anyone shed some light on this? Tks.

Re: Cheyenne vs. CST confusion

Blazers used the cst emblem on the door, it's still a Cheyenne trim truck.

Re: Cheyenne vs. CST confusion

Yes just like said above, Cheyenne replaced CST in 1971. Same level of trim. Blazers just never switched to Cheyenne nameplates

Re: Cheyenne vs. CST confusion

Mine has the cst emblems and says Cheyenne on the spid. I believe in 73 there is a circular emblem on the rear quarter that says Cheyenne and the dash says it on the passenger side.
