That just flat out sucks.
When I read it I was exactly like this
That's what they make beer for

I hope it get better before it gets any worse.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Rum and Coke... Beer is not gonna work right now...

It ran so good too. I have no idea how the heads didnt just fall off... I dont understand how they felt so tight when I took them out.

Oh well... looks like that 383 stroker is coming sooner than planed and the truck will be a bit longer sitting in the garage...

Re: Blood Sweat and Tears.. 67 Build Thread

Trying to get this big sway bar fitted and ran into a little road block.. clearance between the cradle cross member and the bushing mounts only give me like 2 inches, and there is still no weight from motor and trans on it so thats going to get tighter.... Not sure what to do here. Any ideas?

Re: Blood Sweat and Tears.. 67 Build Thread

I had Chad go ahead and do some renderings for me. I really do think Im going to see what I can do to build this C/28 he dreamed up... But as far as color and the Yenko style stripe goes, I think he nailed it... Not sure on wheels yet. These ones do look really cool...

Good to hear you got the motor figured out. So if the sway bar hits would it act like a bump stop?

If it hits its most likely to smash the brackets...

Re: Blood Sweat and Tears.. 67 Build Thread

Column is done, it was in real rough shape as far as paint goes. Pulled it all apart, cleaned it all up, and repainted. It was also a column shift automatic column. I got rid of the holes for the shifter and the gear selector thing...

Re: Blood Sweat and Tears.. 67 Build Thread

I would guess that whatever makes the sway bar link the straightest up at ride height is the best way.

It doesnt look like it will hit the bed cross-member being this way, so I guess Ill go ahead and mount it like this and find out later how it works out.

Re: Blood Sweat and Tears.. 67 Build Thread

I did the same thing, looked goofy and I flipped it. I think on one of Rob's threads there's a pic. I had to trim one of the brackets on the frame to get it in the right spot. Not much room under the bed floor.

Mine are right against the bed mounts but I didn't have to cut them.. how long ago was it that you did yours? I wonder if they made changes to the bar? I just hope the bed clears this thing... or is that why you have yours farther forward?

Awesome man. Wish I had the patience for that ****. If I screw something up I'm real quick to throw it across the street. Neighbors know what I'm talkin about.

It takes me a while to build myself up to get something like this done.. I have been looking for a better door, but havnt found one.. still gotta do bottoms on both doors too... Once I get to the wiring part, thats where stuff starts flying around the garage...

Looks good Poss. Sway bar looks better the way you have it now. Keep it up and before you know it you will be driving it.

Re: Blood Sweat and Tears.. 67 Build Thread

Nice work on the door!

I may have gotten one of the first ones out of Rob. Had to wait quite a while for mine. I did have to move it forward for clearance. I set a couple of the cross rails on the frame and then spanned across those with a straight edge. It was a tight squeeze on mine.
