The rear is a factory 71/72 5 lug so it's the later/wider rear. I would have to check the vin, but I believe it to be a factory 71/72 chassis.

Would you take a $125 for just the frame?

What more could you tell about the rear? First do you still have it? Was it ever rebuilt that you know of? Is it tight and ready to install without any problem? What type posi is it, factory or after market? Same for the gears? And will you lower the price and ship?

Prices are firm and I will not ship. As far as I know it's good to go/factory gears and posi. It came with another chassis I bought. I have not personally pulled the cover and inspected it though.

Doug,

I hope we STILL have a DEAL for my purchase of the Rear End pending Saturdays meeting? I felt like we did but not as sure after seeing current posts & your lack of stating there is a pending deal for the rear - just a TTT. Sorry I wasn't able to call today but I was scoring a 402 for the Burb that's getting that 3.08 Posi of yours.

I'm willing to leave at o'dark 30 to get down around the Race Track or somewhere we can agree on by 9am or so. I'll call you tomorrow to set details. Thanks for the sale!!

ttt....... chassis and rear are still available. Cab and clip are now off the frame. Ready to move this. It's just in the way right now. Trades also considered.

Re: 68-72 swb trailering arm 5 lug rolling chassis

Have you opened this up to CONFIRM the 3.07 gears yet? THAT & YOU being able to meet in KC are the ONLY reasons this rear end is not in Omaha right now. I've crawled under trucks & opened up a couple over the weekend but would STILL prefer the POSI if I could just have a few pictures. I really don't feel this is too much to ask & to know the gear condition. As you previously admitted, you are not SURE what gears are in this, just what the PO told you.

The front cross sill that I have would be $25 if shipped & the sill $20, I'll trade you the sill & meet you in Topeka for $250. (previous offer of $300, trade sill & meet in KC)

I purchased a nice 3.07 1-leg this weekend for $80 that I will gladly pass on for that same price to ANYONE that wants to come get it IF we could just complete this deal.

Yes I'm frustrated about this but not willing to let it stand in the way of a win-win for us BOTH!! Let's get this DONE!!

I assumed you were out since I had thought you found a different rear and hadn't responded to my PM. I'll go ahead and get the pict you requested tonight and we can go from there.

Re: 68-72 swb trailering arm 5 lug rolling chassis

I could still meet you in KC for the original deal of $300 and the sill. Allthough this weekend is filling up fast with things I have to do. I could prob. get away sunday afternoon and meet you around 5:00pm in KC. That's simply the earlyist time I'm going to be able to get away.

Re: 68-72 swb trailering arm 5 lug rolling chassis

I don't have the same level of interest since I now have a 3.07 that will work. My second offer to meet in Topeka was/is fair (half way between us) & giving away the cross sill isn't fair to me. My offer stands as is.
