Rockwell t221/NP205 coupler differences

Anyone made a NP205 coupler work in place of a Rockwell coupler. I have the SM465 trans and Rockwell t221. My coupler doesn't seem correct. Looks like it is short and doesn't stick through the seals far enough. I know the 205 coupler is longer, which I could cut down. I already have the seals for the smaller diameter 205 coupler. I was just wandering if anyone has done this to keep their old Rockwell going.

Stumbled across this NOS coupler the other day on EBay. In case you're looking for one..or willing to drop that kind of cash, ouch.

I think I'll have to pass on that. Wow! I can buy a good NP205 for that price. Maybe two.
