Front bags not lining up

Hey guys, I need some advice here. I’ve got a 72 long bed that I’m currently bagging. I picked up a kit from ez air ride and everything looks good so far. I’m installing my front bags on factory control arms that have an 8 in cup. My problem is when I mount the bag in the cup and to the plate at the top it sits at an angle (front to back). The cups are as far back as they can go in the arms so being that I work in a machine shop my plan is to make new plates for the top with the holes moved 1 1/4in forward from the ones I bought. Does anyone see a problem with that as far as suspension geometry? Thanks in advance

Re: Front bags not lining up

As long as everything clears the bags, you'll be ok.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
