Thats a beauty. I agree with the idea of leaving the six and that patina is perfect. Im a huge fan of the factory paint stripe too!

The six burns oil and is gutless and I really like to hear a v8. I'm goin to have to change the gears too. It's way to high geared

Has that one been on the street much? I've seen one when I go through Marshall, but I think it was two tone.

Is that your green and white one on the south end of town?

Holler at me some time.
Is there a barn find class in craw dad days? Do u held organize it or do u just go to it every year? One day I would like to get a show stated at the drive in.

No classes at all. Most of us have plenty of trophies and a patina rig is not going to win at most shows, so six years ago I decided instead of trophies we would do cash. We have given away a total of $5,000 each year and have $5,000 committed this year. Not bad for a little town in the Ozark Hills. We have a drawing, and any entry can win. Your truck has as much chance of winning as any other entry. We close off downtown and park around the court park square. Fed Ex brings the Nascar tire change game and with CDD festival down on the creek, town is full of people. We draw cars from all over Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and even from Nebraska. I hope this year, more of these truck guys try for some cash.

Darn, I was hoping you were going to swap the engine/trans and slam that nice original truck.................... would have made the remaining survivors that much more valuable.

Congrats on barn find!

When I say I'm goin to keep the six I mean I'm not goin to scrap it or anything. I think I'm goin to do a 350 or 327 with a turbo 350 or 400. Not real sure yet.
