Canton pan - not a bad choice at all. I bet the rails are a bit beefier than the chrome one.

It has a crank scraper and a baffle in the bottom over the pickup tube so should have more oil control.

Wow Thanks a million there is a lot of great builds on here my fav would be Delmos 65 pickemup build.

I talked to Detroit steel wheel today said they will have hoops back in stock in 3 to 4 weeks and they are drilling and tapping and adding the clips for the poverty caps for 15$ a wheel now.

I've been thinking about pulling the dash in mine. Do you know if the dash unbolts? I'm thinking I saw some spot welds in there somewhere.

Re: 61 Ford unibody project

Drove the 61 to BurgerKing to get some lunch then trimmed up the bed floor and cut down the other wheel well and cut the floor for them.

Re: 61 Ford unibody project

What is the flush cap from? I have seen some aftermarket pop up ones. Kicking around gas fill ideas for my 53 Burb.

BTW..I love your truck.

Thank you.

I'm never going to paint the truck but I am going to paint the inside of the bed to match as soon as I am done with it.
