If I could have gone Friday, I would have been rollin' the Lincoln. Not nearly as cool as the truck, unfortunately. It was nice to meet Joe Saturday evening, when he and the Family stopped by to pick up parts.

Nothing picture worthy to report yet, but the c-notches are in, and a new master cylinder, too. Hopefully it will stop better now. I can't wait to get it put back together and back to work!

Nothing yet. The exhaust shop is in Plano, so I will try to get it there this weekend. I got the frame painted, and the bed put back on this evening, but decided to fight the brake lights right now. Power at the brake pedal switch, none at the wire out to the fuseblock. I am going to have to dig out the wiring schematic tonight.

Do the turn signals work?
I'd check the brake wiring through the turn signal switch....

The turn signals do work, but that looks like it might be where I am having my problem. It is a new Delco turn signal switch, too. I wonder if I might have a terminal that has backed out on the wiring that meets the turn signal switch on the side of the column.

Another thing, I believe the brake switch is a ground side switch, so it will always have power on it, it completes the circuit by allowing a path to ground.

Whew. It was a bad connection at the turn signal switch. I had just put in a new one with the new column, so I was getting a little testy about it. The white wire had pulled out of the plastic a bit. I have a tendency to jump on the hardest thing to fix, and go backwards from there. I will say that having this board is a great help (followed by having the factory wiring diagram....)

I dug out my inner fenders from my old '77 Blazer, and got them painted when we did the frame. I may slide those in, and start cleaning up some more of teh nasty wiring under the hood.

Thanks, ya'll. As it turns out, my truck really is a work truck. I ended up doing yardwork all day Saturday, and used the truck to haul mulch. It really didn't like 2 yards of mulch with the drop, but did just fine with one. No worries, just had to make two trips. that also gave me an excuse to get my tailpipes put back on. Sooooooo much better. I have really enjoyed just tooling around in my old truck. Hauled around a couple of trees and 12 bags of leaves and cuttings from my hedges, and it did just great. I think I will have to cruise it to work a bit this week, too.
