Just curious for torque converter spec reasons. I think gvw (laden) weight is 5000 lbs, does that mean unladen (as is) weight is 4000 lbs? Thanks guys

link in my signature will drop you onto a 56 truck page, scroll down to year index link, find your year and look in the page index. Off the top of my head I thing the weight is around 3800 pounds. With the additional 4wd stuff my 59 short fleetside rolls across the scales at around 4500#.

It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
