LS fuel filters?

Hey Guys,

I was wondering what your fuel filter setup looks like? Will you please post up if you are running a pre and post filter? I plan on using my Walbor 255 with a pre and post filter, but I have no idea which pre and post filter I should be using.

Re: LS fuel filters?

Does your fuel rail have 1 or 2 lines? If it has 1 most use the covette filter regulator. As for a pre filter I am not running one but am interested in the replies.

Re: LS fuel filters?

I'm using an Earl's 40 micron pre-filter and Vette style post filter/regulator.

I've read you shouldn't use much more than a 40 micron pre-filter, or you can choke-out the pump too much. Don't know if it's true, but it sounded reasonable to me, so that's what I did.

Some pics of the filters and Walbro inline are in this thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=412762

Re: LS fuel filters?

I found out that aeromotive suggest that people run a 100 pre-filter and 10 post filter. You can find this info on their website.
