Accelerator Pedal

Can someone tell me who makes a repro accelerator pedal and rod? PO had installed a pedal that has become loose and even come apart on me going down the road before. I would like to go back to the stock look. One more question, anybody got a measurement on the throttle cable for the pedal to an edelbrock carb?

Re: Accelerator Pedal

I have one I removed when I did my LS swap. If I can find all the parts, I'd be willing to sell it. Let me get some pics for you.

Re: Accelerator Pedal

How about some basic info on your Truck? Year, 2 or 4wd, engine, etc.

The pedals are reproduced. Unsure about rods. The accel cable will depend on your drivetrain but both are reproduced.

I have a pedal and rod I removed from a 1970 blazer if no one else can help. It was a 6 cyl. so rod may be a little different, I installed a 72 pedal and cable. I have another 72 setup also if no one else can help and you want to go that route.

Re: Accelerator Pedal

My setup is an older 2 hole. Is there any advantage to this 3 hole setup that you have?

I'm guessing it's just a year thing but that is only a guess.

Who says that's not the final plan? I'm just trying to get it to drive safely right now. It's ok if you don't like what I like, even if I was going to leave carbureted.

Just kidding around! It's not like I don't like carbs, just prefer EFI.

Yeah I know...I like EFI also. Everybody says do an LS swap but I want to build a 383 and put a sniper efi kit on it. Like I said, just trying to drive it for now.
