What is this electrical component?

Guys,

I'm tracking down a voltage leak that has been killing my battery. This component has .5A going through the large red wire and out the small on with the key off, it still does it with the door closed (dome light off)

So what does that littoe guy do? Where does the little wire go so I know what to check next.

I believe that is your horn relay.

Not sure of the location from context, but that's most likely your horn relay. But if it were stuck on, I'd expect the horn to be going.

Unless your horn is disconnected for that very reason... does the horn work?

That is the horn relay. Red wire is battery green goes to the horn and small wire goes to the horn contacts in steering column.

Re: What is this electrical component?

The horn button on my Grant steering wheel has been ser funky for awhile now, I plugged my horn back in and it still didn't go off so I ruled that out, I found the button to be stuck thus killing my battery, that is for the help guys.
