Distributor gear
I have a 1969 427TD in my 69 C60. It has been upgraded to HEI. Long story short it caught fire. I had to swap the gears from my old one to my new one. My original gear has two small squares that set inside of small rubber pieces within the gear. There's your normal roll pin going through all of that. In the process of swapping everything over I managed to ruin the rubber pieces. I cannot seem to find replacement parts for it! Anyone know where I can locate replacement parts?
Here's a couple pictures of what I'm dealing with |

Re: Distributor gear
If you ruined the rubber pcs put a daub of silicone in its place and run it.
The rubber must have been there to prevent? I can't tell by your post wth is going on but someone WAY smarter than me should be along shortly. |

Re: Distributor gear
The first picture is a random one I found on the internet that shows the hex drive end I'm dealing with. I have no idea why the rubber is there. There are also the small rectangle metal pieces that the roll pin fits through. I can't seem to find much info on that style
