Pls help, 2/4 drop w/20s, tire ?

He all,

I have a 2006 ECSB Silverado. I am running 275/55R20 tires with a 2" shackle in rear to level truck.

I am thinking about doing a 2" spindle in front and 2" hanger in rear for 2/4 total drop.

It looks like I may have rubbing issues with the front tires. Anyone running this combo? Pics pls

Here are pics of my current stance. First pic is with old Goodyear Eagles.
Second pic is close up of my new BFGs, both tires are 275/55R20

Re: Help, questions about 2/4 drop w/20s

Found this pic. Guy says he is running a 1/3 drop with 275/55R20. This could work for me. Having trouble finding a 1/3 kit though.

Re: Help, questions about 2/4 drop w/20s

I wish I could be more of a help. I'm interested in the answer as well. By the last picture you posted it looks like another 1" might put the tires into the fender when turned and hitting a bump. It's hard to say though. I guess measuring is the best you can do if no one else has tried this particular combo.

Good looking truck by the way. Is it Blue Graphite? Mine is this color but looks different to me.

I agree the pic of that GMC looks like an additional inch would cause rubbing.
After I found that pic I posted, I am thinking I would be happy with a 1/3 drop. I could keep my current tire size and still get the look I want, or realy close to it.

And I believe the GM name for my paint color is Blue Granite Metallic - code is 928I I think.

Post up a pic of your truck.

This is the only pic I have. Need to get some more:

Keep us updated on what you figure out. I'm going to be in the same situation soon. I want to drop mine some.

Re: Help, questions about 2/4 drop w/20s

Anyone running 1" drop springs up front?

Also looking for a 3" shackle for rear, or one that has multiple holes for adjustable drop.

Not yet, shifted focus to my 68 project. But still thinking the 1" springs and adjustable or 3" shackle is my only option with my current tire size.
