Custom wheels for 99-02 2wd

Looking for idea's, wondering what other people had for their 2wd's. Size 17-20" I don't want anything bigger. Planning a 5/7 static drop

Can't beat the look of some stock GM 20's....They look super sweet on the lowered 99-02 IMO....Not to mention the fact that you can pick up some new take-offs for a reasonable price as well...I have a set on my 2000, and plan on buying a different style later this year..

These are what I have now and although they look good, they are older and the paint and caps are about a 7 out of 10, and the tires are way too big for a 5/7 drop.

Re: Custom wheels for 99-02 2wd

I've got roughly a 3/4 drop on mine currently running the GM 20's with a 275-55 tire....Only had a slight rub on the inner fenderwell plastic at full turns which was remedied with some love from a heat gun....I plan on getting a different style later on, and running just a little bit smaller profile of a tire....

@nxtlevl - That is sharp.

This is what I ended up doing for now. I swapped the 18" wheels from my black truck and put the 20's on it. I am in the process for looking for those 20" LTZ wheels off of the Texas style trucks, but not the chrome version after seeing this 99'.

BabyBlue, I love that gray reg cab Silvy........I've seen pictures of that truck before, and it gave me motivation to try and do something with mine..lol...I'll never go that low with my truck as a DD, but that truck is perfect in every way IMO....Your black reg. cab looks sweet.....Will really look good with the Texas LTZ wheels on it...

All nice trucks. Keep us updated if you find the wheels. When you are looking for the wheels is there a different name for them or just "Texas LTZ" ?

If I ever go with another set of factory 20's, I'm going with these....

I'm not a big wheel guy but I am liking the drop with factory 18" & 20" wheel look.
