New to the Forum

Hello Everyone,
Just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Chris and my current project is a 68 chevy C10 stepside. I'm in the process of repairing all the rusted out panels. It's got rusted out floor boards, rocker panels, and cab corners. The plans for the truck are 6.0 LS swap, complete frame off clean up, new suspension and finish it off with a nice static drop and paint.
I'll attach some pictures of where i'm at on the project and I welcome any suggestions. IG name CRUEDAS83

Re: New to the Forum

Suggestions ? , Send it out and have it stripped before you start welding in new metal .looks like you have the equipment needed to build a great truck BUT welding new metal to old rust defeats the purpose ! just my opinion but you asked .

I'm not sure of the prices out there but here I can have one baked then blasted clean bare metal for less than $500.00 and it's done in 2 days . They will be doing my frame/suspension and powder coating it high gloss Chrome for less than that .

WOW good pricing, I'm sure I'll be paying more than that.

Re: New to the Forum

Welcome! Looks like you're in for some work, but it will all be worth it in the ling run. I'm currently doing the same to my cab. I decided to just go with the complete one piece floor though. Fit wasn't perfect, but certainly wasn't bad either.
