Wheel Vintiques 16 inch smoothie question

Hello all

I am wondering if anybody knows if a Smoothie Wheel Vintiques 16 x6 6 lug wheel will fit on my 72 k5.
I know the 3 nub will not work with disc brakes in a 15 inch diameter, but wondering if the 16 buys more clearance? Any thoughts?
I really want to have stock 4 nub steelies but they are pretty hard to find and expensive, so I am exploring alternatives.

Thanks! Mike

I’m not completely sure but I believe if the offset is 4” on the 16” wheels these should clear the calipers. Have you contacted WV and asked?

Re: Wheel Vintiques 16 inch smoothie question

So I never contacted wheel Vintiques... I found a nice appearing set of 4 4nub steelies on eBay and decided to go with them. I should be receiving them soon. Once I get them mounted I’ll post up some pics. They are going on a quite original medium olive 72 cst with some Hickey stuff

Finally received my 15 x 6 steelies!
I ordered and had mounted 7.00-15 TRX bias plys. They are pretty skinny but I think look good
