Guess the GM emblem... - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

One of these is an original GM emblem (NOS) the others aftermarket. Thought I’d post to illustrate the slight differences.

Anyone want to venture a guess as to the GM piece?

I say far left is NOS.

The one on the right with the smaller part numbers is NOS. The mounting pins are different than the other two. The middle one with the larger part numbers lists a 454

The other one has no part numbers.

It’s the one on the far right. Calls out “PT NO” too. Also, the end on the NOS has a rough step edge the repro pieces lack (they are actually better finished

). You can eyeball a GM piece on the fender by the rough edge I’m thinking.

I removed the middle one and it gave me pause for a moment thinking it was NOS and I’d forgotten. Figured I’d post to show the differences.

Did not give much time for guess's. Was going to guess the one on the right. Surprising some of the re-pop stuff looks better than oem. Then again, fitment and longevity are another thing.

I'm too late, but I was going to say far right. The center one is Custom Mold Dynamics. You can see the CMD symbol. It is also made slightly nicer. Their pieces are as nice if not better than GM OEM.
