Those are soooo cool!
It's obvious they use the toughest trucks for those jobs.
Brush truck we got a hold of needed a heart transplant so sacrificed it's parts so others could live I liked the logo on the door!

They're the li'l hustlers of the VFD and many seem especially proud of them. Kinda like a mascot. I like that door art.

Me too John. They are stout,proud,and stylish. The trucks of the height of the best automotive era. My choice to run 67-72s was born of practicality which led to being about classics. My passion is in all that preceded as well.

I passed a 71 a month or so ago that had a huge box on the back, and said "keep back 500 ft" No town name though, I tried to get turned around but i couldn't in time. Would have loved to got the plate and found out who owned it.

my local dept, has a 80's military issue diesel one-ton brush truck. it looks sweet! i'll try to snap a picture on thursday when i go down for training!!

My 72 GMC , a request was sent to see FD to see if I can get any pics of the truck during service to see what all was on the truck .

Going to fix what is needed and keep as a good driver.
