Sometimes the aftermarket bed suppliers have what they call take-offs. They install utility beds and flatbeds, often they have mint beds laying aroung for sale. Your local junkyard hotline should be able to locate you a 87 era bed. If nothing else I bet the new Dodge bed would look killer, well maybe not. Good luck

Dave I have a near perfect 87 dual tank job here in N.J.,original paint ,no rust and 2 tiy dings. but I see by your profile you are in ole Miss. Anyway I want $600 for it and it is of the quality that I see go for $800 at Truck carlisle[if you are familiar].Here in the rust belt it is really a rare one.DAVE C.

Hey, last week (literally) I went to a local junkyard in Houston and practically STOLE a 8' dual-filler fleetside bed off an 87 Silverado for $150! With the exception of a small patch of rust over the right tailight lens, it is perfect and rust-free. Even the bottom is not rusty at all!
What happened is the owner was not there and the guy behind the counter didn;t know what it was worth.
It was lots of fun driving it home 30 miles with my new 8' bed sitting in the bed of my LWB dodge. LOL.
