Do I need new Axle shafts? (Pic inside)

Hey all,
I thought I had chased this wobble down with the front spindle but now I believe it is coming from my rear axle. The driver side rear axle had a small amount of play in it where I could kind of rotate it in a circle and up and down a very tiny bit. The passenger side did not do this but I pulled both as well. Does this look like I need new shafts or just bearings?

Thanks for any help.

I would check the play in the bearing and then the play between the bearing and the shaft. If no play at the shaft. Your good

I would replace the passenger side for sure but if your buying new I would just get both less to worry about. Makes me wonder about the 12bolt in my k5 now

Both of them look bad. Repair bearings have already been used. The passenger side is the worst, but the driver's side looks like it is getting a lip as well and will need eventual replacement.

Passenger side axle and bearing for sure, if it were me I would go ahead and do both sides. You're probably looking at a couple hundred bucks to get new axles, bearings and seals. If money and time is a factor, polish up the passenger shaft (you'll likely never be able to remove all of the pitting, but you can make it smoother) stick it all back together until you can round up the parts. Then get it knocked out.

Thanks for all the replies, much appreciated!! I ordered Moser axle shafts, studs, and seals. I was going to order the timkin bearings but a review on there said they were repair bearings and not what was stated so I will be buying bearings local. I will let you know how it turns out, hopefully this is the source of the wobble.
