Axle Bearing Socket Size
I've go a noisy bearing on my rear Dana 60 full floating axle. Anyone know the socket size I need to remove the spindle? I think it might be 2 9/16 but not sure. Any tips?

Re: Axle Bearing Socket Size
Here is a good brand socket.
This type of socket is the best for axle nuts. Once you can verify the correct size. Link below:vvvv: There are some a few dollars cheaper. OTC is a good brand. Link:https://www.amazon.com/OTC-1928-Lock...s%2C255&sr=8-7 .

Re: Axle Bearing Socket Size
Measure the nut flat to flat across the nut...
It should have six flats if its 2 9/16"

Re: Axle Bearing Socket Size
I ordered a 2 6/16" socket, just got it. I'll let you all know when I work on it. Hopefully early next week as I'm off the entire week of Thanksgiving.
