Thanks, they are 15x6.5 primered steel wheels from summit racing and painted ferrari red by my body shop, wrapped in a 235/75r15 Goodyear 2 1/2 whitewall with a baby moon chrome cap. Here are a couple close up shots from when I first put them on.

BTW I still love this truck!

Did get another pair
of white patina'd with the truck, plan on putting them on so it keeps the patina theme going. I am blown away at the attention this truck is getting when I take it out.

Its Crazy Dave. These old worn trucks are like magnets. Every body has a story about one they had, or a relative that owned one. People just want to stop and talk. Good times.

My new wheels and tires.

Sorry about the upside down pic. I can't figure out how to rotate it.

Re: Calling All Steelies - Caps and Otherwise...

This is kind of interesting.
It looks like he used 73-87 4x4 hubcaps with bullets slipped in through the hub caps hub hole.

So true! I have had a few people sit in it and it really brings back memories for them, they all got that little smile on their face. First time I backed it out of the garage, a guy was driving by. He slams his brakes on, jumps out with this huge excited smile saying how he used to have one just like it in his younger days. Never really get that reaction from my '62 Bel Air.
