Drill Press Surprise

I have been needing a drill press at the shop for a while . Just haven't pulled the trigger . So a couple of weeks ago my son said he was bidding on one at an auction , He got the bid on it . so when it came time to pick it up I got the call . He tells me about half way there that he bought it for me ...

Then I finally asked what he spent on it , 170 bucks . Thought for a used one that was high but okay . When we get to the place and they brought it out on the forklift I was like ummm that's big . When is was set in the truck it set the truck down . Was told it was close to 1,000 lbs .

Going to the shop to make room today . ... For reference , My son is 6'2'' This is a Walker Turner .
