Hi Jesse,
My name is Craig. I need that part that you have so masterfully created. Can you sell me one, please?
I need the latch strikers, too, or whatever they are called. The hooks that bolt up to the inside of the truck where the latches attach to.
Thank you for your time, Jesse.

Hi Craig, I received your PM as well. Unfortunately, I am out of the mechanisms. I sold the last one a week or two ago. I will be making more, but it will be a month before I get around to it. Each one is hand made and takes a lot of labor. I will let you know when I have them ready to ship. I do not currently make the latch strikers. I can, but I don't make them because I think most people on this forum want them to look exactly like the factory ones, and those factory ones are made with special tooling and a lot of tonnage applied through a hydraulic press. I made my own for my truck, but I doubt others will be satisfied, so I do not make them. You can usually find used strikers in the parts board that should work for you.

Re: Blazer rear hatch mechanisms

If anyone has a spare I will take it. Ready for one now so I can ship my K5 back to San Diego from Miami.
Maybe Jessie has some ready.

I have an extra one I will let go for 90 shipped. I was planning on adding it to the classified with a bunch of other extra hatch parts here in a day or so. But you can have first look if interested. It is media blasted.

Actually I just realized this one does not have the spring inserted on it so in that case it will be 50 shipped not 90 shipped. I have one but holding on to it.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for the interest, but I do not plan on making any more because I have learned that someone else is commercially making them, as well as other hatch parts. They look like nice pieces. See below. I suggest you give them a try.
