Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

Personally I like the '67-'68 grills on everything but I've seen some low GMCs & some 4x4 '67-'68 & '71-'72 trucks that I really like also.
Basically, do you own the truck?? Then do it how you like it.

I have a '71 Blazer and bought a '68 swb for the front cap. A friend is gonna take my '71 front and put it on the '68 and build a ground scraping stepside for his shop truck.
To each his own, IMHO

Here's a few I like that are backwards from your preference.

This is probably my favorite GMC of all time.

And this is probably my fav 4x4

but this one is pretty cool too

Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

Those are great pictures. I own a total of 4 trucks. 71 Gmc 2wd blazer. 72 4x4 blazer. 72 chevy swb Lt1, 6speed, 2002 Z06 leather seats, autometer gauges, flow master with balance tube, etc. This vette truck used to be slammed and I recently raised it back to a few inches below stock height. After 30,000 miles of being on the ground, my alignment was out and my front lower A arms were bent horribly. I couldn't see my truck like this and finally raised it. I also have a 72 chevy parts truck. All are factory a/c, they all sport 15 x 8 rallys. It has taken me 10 years to accumulate them all. I can definately get pics of all but the 2wd. The 2wd is buried in the garage so I have room to finish my 4x4 "super short bed project." The parts truck has already been stripped of all I needed so its basically just parts. As soon as I get over the flu, I will post some picture. thanks for the replys!

Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

Heres my factory 2wd blazer. It came as a CST with factory air, 350/350, dark blue paint with white interior. Isn't she a beauty!

Re: How many 2 wheel drive blazers do we have?

wheels are 20x10 and 20x8...i have owned it for about 3 years, started tearing it apart right after i got it.i got side tracked for a few months as i finished up my 67 nova ss(sold it and got another basket case 66).i have had the blazer pretty much done since july.i'm actually just starting a 69 stepside that i think is going to be pretty cool....plans are air ride,22 and 20 in. wheels, black, red interior, it should be done around march or april.im lucky i have an understanding wife, seems i'm always juggling time for her, kids, yard, and car projects.....

Be cool if you found time for build threads on your stuff; it's very nice.

did you have to cut the bed in order to get it to sit that low? I would love to see pics of your body mods and suspension if possible.
