‘70 stepside, wet sanding clear and getting ready to paint cab. I hope ... it’s hot in Las Vegas. But super fun after 8 months of prep.

My interior upgrade continues - I installed new Soffseals around the doors as the old weatherstrip wasn't performing well at all. Also got the the wiring cleaned up inside the dash, reinstalled the glove box and door, plus the dash bezel. Next comes the fat mat and carpeting.

It is from a late 80s early 90s Chevy. Had the headrests removed and seats recovered.

What did that seat come out of? Did it need a lot of adjustments to the floor? Very nice look to it!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: What did you do to your truck today? Chapter II

Installed new "true-double roller" timing set. Had pix of old set but got a new phone and haven't downloaded them yet. It was bad...almost full inch of chain travel between sprockets! Removed intake because i had the gaskets, and it needed a thorough cleaning.removed thermostat to check condition.Add thermostat and housing to the list of "things that cost money and need to be replaced."water pump is also on that list... Everything is prepped for paint,I.e.:block,oil pan, timing chain cover, balancer, intake. paint tomorrow. Also, new H.E.i. dizzy,Taylor wires, plugs, and one wire alternator came in today! Far more work (money) than I had planned.but glad I did it.

I am offended by your name. But I love your glove box door. Beautiful combo!

I put on a new fuel pump. What a pain trying to keep that rod up in there and get the gaskets situated. Required another set of hands from my friend. Now I know why people go with an electric one.

Next time put some grease on the rod it will hold it up while you do the pump.
