14 bolt question

I've got a semi float 14bolt on my 70 c10 4wd it needs a bunch of stuff done to it and I can get a full float for pretty cheap but my question is will I need to alter my drive line or can it directly swap out thank you

14 bolt question

Are the 14bolt semi float and the full float same size as in I have a semi float if went full float do I need to cut my drive line ?

I swapped a ff for a sf in my 85K20. Direct bolt in, no driveline mods needed. HOWEVER, my ff came from a k30 so I had to move my spring perches as they are different widths.
