Does the VIN on the SPID match the one on the frame?

Re: Blazer SPID thread?

Where is the VIN on the frame? The door sticker and riveted data plate all have the sale # as the glove box. Some might think it was altered or messed with, but it's been in the family since 1980. Mom bought it from the original owner who was my neighbor / music teacher. 99% sure it rolled of the assembly line as a 4X4.
The option sheet shows CKE... as the VIN, and "K"10514 as the model, and also shows "front wheel lock hu", so the front axle was there...

Have you heard of such a thing?
