DEMON CARBS Q's

We have a road demon carb we bought about 6 months ago...We didn't have enough time to mess with it so we put on the q'jet.
This saturday we are planning on going back with the Demon, but have one question...What are some ideas on getting our air cleaner on their. We have the universal adapter that goes to a valve cover, but the choke is hitting the inside of the adapter. Any ideas?? If im not being as clear as i should im sorry but you get my drift....
thanks
Jason
