Has Anyone Used Or Have Pics Of These Valve Covers On Thier Trucks?? I Am Thinking About Them But 300 Bucks Is A Little Steep.

They are good lookin' valve covers, but $300 is a LOT steep!

Hey Bram, Did You Check Your Brake Booster Clearance Before You Got Those Valve Covers? I Have Some Smaller Ones On Mine Now And I Bang Them Up It Seems Everytime I Take Them Off And On. I Am Wondering If They Will Fit On Mine Also? By The Way They Do Look Freakin' Sweeeet!

Thanks, and Yep, I changed over to a hydro boost system, it gave me a lot more room.

I've thought about putting those on my 502 too, they really look good. Hey Bram, what is a hydro boost? A smaller booster and master cylinder?

gregfull, the Hydro Boost Power Brake System is a booster that works from hydraulic fluid pressure produced by the power steering pump. Here is a picture similar to my setup.

bram, don't mean to ask 20 questions but, where did you get your hydroboost setup? i heard they were on the diesels but is there a setup that will bolt right on to our trucks... i am not familiar with that setup. is it worth it if i have disc's up front and drums out back? what are the advantages?

Where did you get your hydro boost setup?
1. I got the Hydro Boost from a 96 Chevy 1 ton 4x4.

I heard they were on the diesels but is there a setup that will bolt right on to our trucks?
2. They came on gas and diesel trucks, and yes it will bolt up to our truck's with some modification.

Is it worth it if I have disc's up front and drums out back?
3. I really don't know but, I have four wheel disc brakes all the way around that’s why I did it.

What are the advantages?
4. The reason for adding the hydro boost was to provide for a firmer pedal feel, while obtaining additional braking performance by adding more line pressure than what was being achieved with the stock vacuum booster for my four wheel disc.
