Re: Best, longest lasting frame paint

I can not stress enough, look for a powder coater! Call around, find the best/cheapest deal you can, &%#K sand blasting and priming these frames, let someone else do it!

I brought a powdercoater my rusty frame, a PILE of parts from the seat frame to all bumper brackets to fender brackets, rad support and inner fenders, $500!

FIVE HUNDRED BUCKS the friggin primer would have cost close to that!

Dropped off a truck load of rusty parts, brought home a truck load of perfectly painted parts all wrapped up nice and put my frame together within days, done deal.

Re: Best, longest lasting frame paint

But of course you’re not gonna use the entire gallon on a frame but then you have to buy the paint. SPI Is a great alternative three coats and your done no top coat necessary but I would not sand blast and paint all that stuff for $500 that’s CRAZY
