Nice looking 88 S10-Luv step side

Saw on a C'list ad, wondered about the Luv in title, if it's a GMC wouldn't it be a S15?

Re: Nice looking 88 S10-Luv step side

you are correct... ad reads that it has a fiberglass LUV bed... the S10 was the replacement for the LUV I recall.

an informative luv truck site : LUVtruck.com

a forum for S10s : s10planet.com

Seems the other two s10 forums have gone the way of the dinosaur...

I have wondered what it takes to do this bed swap as far as fuel tank goes. I got a 91 black Sonoma.

I would love to do a Bed Swap on my S10, I like the step side beds and don't haul anything in my box anyway.

Re: Nice looking 88 S10-Luv step side

The Luv trucks as i was told came over in ships with the beds off of them . The way i understand it , the dealer installed the bed and a few other small things so they could say assembled in the USA . The step side bed was a dealer option that was built by 4 different mfgs.
