Anyone know anything about that last truck that just has "72" on the tag? It's beautiful!

I love that Cheyenne in #2 post (pics 3 & 4). The color combo is beautiful and the stance on that truck is nice. Awesome! Heres my 70 K10 in orange w/ white top.

Re: Anybody got any pics of hugger/white 69-72's??

My SPID says White/Hugger Orange/White. My father-in-law had it repainted many years ago, and the white below the lower molding ended up orange. Someday I'll make it right. Maybe in my lifetime.

Red Orange is not Hugger Orange.

Re: Anybody got any pics of hugger/white 69-72's??

OK - have a 72 Longhorn that is going to get the treatment, and it is factory "orange" - would like to know whether it is "hugger" or "red" orange before I start. The original paint is badly faded (Phoenix area since new) and the SPID sticker is tough to read and doesn't seem to show color. The dash color is still good. Any thoughts on how I nail it?

Re: Anybody got any pics of hugger/white 69-72's??

Red orange and hugger orange are the same color as shown on the PPG charts above- may depend on model year what was indicated on the SPID (I'm not sure about that part). My 72 K20 above has red orange on the SPID...

Re: Anybody got any pics of hugger/white 69-72's??

I'm seriously considering painting my truck hugger/white, but it will be custom 2-tone, not a stock pattern. Truck is white now and I just love the hugger orange.

I stand corrected. Take a look at how many different names GM #11 white had over the years, for that matter!
