Re: Help me Rock My Ride and possibly win $500 for your truck...

This has got to be the worse thing I seen happen to someone when it comes to getting something for free. I am no tough internet guy but I can assure you that this would not had gone this far with something of mine. Good luck with this "nightmare"

Wow, macdaddy. That is crazy! Thank you very much for taking the pictures. I still hold the title to the truck, but I may never be able to get it back. We won the lawsuit and now are attempting to collect. I have a feeling that may be an equally frustrating dead end road. Really feeling like a winner at this point. Thanks a bunch.

Good luck collecting..... They are scum, somehow they talked me into working in there bodyshop, I worked there a week (last week) and never got paid one red cent for my troubles. So I did a google search and found this thread and other crazy stuff on them.

By the way John, do you remember Mike from the boat shop in Lebanon?

I would think with the documentation of the winning Lawsuit, and the valid title to the truck that you could have a police escort help you get the truck/parts loaded up onto a trailer....

I agree with 72-C20....
Did you win the value of the truck or the cost of the work that was to be done?
If you still hold the title & it's sitting outside, why can't you just have it flatbedded out of there?

At least you'd have her back.

I'm incredibly pissed off for you!!!

How about a National Board meet outside of their shop? That might scare the piss out of them.

I'm so sorry for all this...it makes me sick to see how that burb sits now.
Remember to keep cool & hopefully the police will help you out being you have the title.
This shop will get what's coming to them eventually...you may never see it, but they will. I truly believe you can't continuously & intentionally treat folks wrong & it not come back on you.

Mike = macdaddy? Cool, how have you been, buddy? That sucks about the shop and it is what I have come to expect out of them. This has been a long road.

Yes, that is still my goal. I want to get the truck back to see what is left and see if it is still economically feasible to rebuild it.

I was awarded the value of the truck + the cost of the work. Collecting it will be another issue.

The Cat will still get a paint job and wheels and tires. The other shop was ready for it a month ago, but I didn't want to give up the ragtop at the beginning of Summer.

Thanks a bunch for all of your support, guys. I went way beyond pissed about this over a year ago and channeled the frustration into energy and diligence to get this straightened out. I will make sure that it all works out as I am extremely persistent and I don't like to lose.

Thanks again,

That is crazy. I wasn't even a member on here when this all got started, so this is the first that I've seen it. I read the 20 pages of this thread expecting to see a show quality truck at the end of a high dollar build, but it just got worse and worse. Man I feel for you. At first I thought you were gonna end up with a pimped out gangsta ride, but you would have probably preferred that over what you got. I'm sure it will come back to them in the end. Please let us know how everything turns out for you.

I dont know what I would do ..........I hate men that are such scumbags that wont hold up their end of the deal. How can something like this happen and for once not worry about getting something on return from the owner of the vehicle.
