Holy cow that is some serious rubber under that truck, i LOVE it. truck is a real head turner to me, and that mustang oh yah, that will turn out real nice, everyone needs to learns on something first.

thanx for the pics of the bed now I can start ...ummm...tuning my bed floor...I have 2 stock rallies out being turned into 13"wide ( its the happy medium between the 15 and 18.5 tires... because who knows what the next tire deal will be) keep an eye out in my build thread...I snagged a set of cup car trailing arms and a set of 3:73's tat I'm going to keep straight using the cup car panard bar mounts and a long bar

couple questions...hows the ride, tire wear and how much air are you running??

Sweet truck love the build! So I see you are running 8.75 inches of back spacing, and Scoti is running 9.5 inches of back spacing. I'm currently building a 67 shortbed gmc with a 4/6 drop. I was wanting to know whice back spacing would work better for me being that my truck is lowered? thanks -Brian

Looks like I'm a little behind on my build replies. Ooops. Winter gets me out of the loop a little. I can tell you this: you can't run either of those backspaces without your bed being tubbed. You should put this question on the general forum and put some specific info about your truck/build. With a stock bed, I don't think you can get too much backspacing. This is why I opened up my bed. I wanted some TTTTIIIRREEEEEEE under there. Hope this helps.

You know the ride isn't bad at all.....it's the tracking that sucks. These are too wide to be bias ply. It works for now because I'm almost never on the hwy but it feels a little squishy. I'm looking for a set of M/T or Hoosier prostreet radials. I have talked to several guys that started with the bias plys and went to radials......they say you won't believe the difference. Kinda spendy but worth it. I'm currently running about 16 PSI. I believe 20 is max.

Yes I do! I need to take some pics of the inside. Some other guy was razzing me about it. It looks funny without the seat (bench) in there. It follows the line of the seat well and looks really clean. It just pops up over the top in 1st and 4th with little clearance. I love it.

I don't check this thread much because I haven't been adding to it. Once I get it all dug out in another month or so, I'm going to do a bunch of pics on the tunnel ram install to help others with what they will run into. I need to drill and tap the back for a pvc port. Too much crank pressure and it blows a little oil on the covers when my foot gets heavy!

Just read the whole thing. Kudos to you on not turning this into a Cinderella Truck. I like the "work in progress" look. Awesome job on the bed tubs. keep us posted as you have time.

It's so nice having a truck that you don't have to worry about. That hood has been a workbench MANY times.

My Fastback is going to be the one that gets all the money. It will be the one that I get a little sweat on the eye brow when it's out in the parking lot.

This is the only other car that I've ever owned that I would say was freaking cherry. Great for high blood pressure.
